The longest bracket that we make is 82” in width. With this backplate width you can make shelves up to 106”. We are unable to custom-make brackets that are longer than that, but that doesn’t mean that your shelf can’t be longer. If you want to make a longer shelf, just order two shorter brackets. To find the best sizes, take your total shelf length and divide it in half. Then keep in mind that you will want at least 1” on each end of your brackets.
So for example, if you want to make a 120” shelf, you divide that in half and get 60”. Getting two 58” brackets would leave you with 4” of space which you could distribute evenly on each end of your brackets.
Theoretically, you could do this with three brackets as well. Just keep in mind that the more brackets you have to hang for a single shelf, the harder it is to get everything lined up correctly. When doing longer shelves it is recommended that you purchase a tooling kit so you have the templates to help you with your installation.
